A graduate of law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. He specializes in social insurance law. Since 2012 he has been a student of doctoral seminar on labour law and social insurance law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and International Relations of the Krakow University. Tomasz Piwowarski is preparing his doctoral dissertation under the direction of prof. zw. dr hab. Barbary De Ankerburg – Wagner, on the common civil insurance system in Poland. Since December 2013 he has been a trainee legal advisor entered into the list of trainees kept by the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Kraków. His legal interests focus on issues concerning unequal treatment and discrimination of employees as well as the termination of employment contracts. He is fluent in English.
